The Board of Trustees

The Academy is a Registered  Charity (1087350) and Company Limited by Guarantee (no. 04243361). Its Governing Body is its Board of Trustees.

The Trustees also known as Directors, are responsible for the effective management of the Academy in line with its remit to promote, educate, support and practice fine and applied arts.

Members of the Board of Trustees are normally appointed for a period of three years and represent a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise from across a range of spheres. SWAc Academicians also serve as Board members.
